Having watched this lovely craft over the last couple of years we finally had a trip for twelve of us, all aged 60-70 from the Knab around the Worm and back. The three hour trip was a joy and felt extremely safe in fairly mild conditions. We were given a very comprehensive 'tour guide' of the full coastline with all its local history, both factual and mythical with plenty of humour thrown in.The Peregrine falcon obliged us with an appearance as well a number of choughs. Drifting slowly around the Worm brought us in close contact with grey seal, guillemots, razorbill and fulmars. It was wonderful to see Gower from the sea and well worth every penny of the cost. Many thanks Tony.

Thanks for an unforgettable, exhilarating and fantastic time on Sea Serpent! I only wished I lived nearer to enjoy the trips more often!
The professionalism of your crew and their excellent local knowledge and made this sea-wary passenger become a complete sea addict!
We were incredibly fortunate to see so many species of bird and sea-life and the colony of seals which we caught sunning themselves on the rocks at Worms Head was an absolute treat.
Trips on Sea Serpent will become a permanent feature of my future visits to Swansea. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful trip! - E. Hughes. Valencia, Spain.

Thanks for the pic. Really enjoyed trip and have recommended it to many people! As I mentioned to Mike at the time, although I have lived in Mumbles/Newton for most of my life, the trip and the knowledge he imparted has made me want to read and discover more about the history of Gower. Looking forward to doing the longer one next time.

We have just returned from an afternoon outing aboard the sea serpent from Port Eynon to Worms head. I feel i must write to thank you for an absolutely outstanding trip. I have lived in Swansea all my life and have been a regular visitor to the gower for most of my life but what i experienced board the Sea Serpent was truly an eye opener. I must thank you and all involved in Gower Coast Adventures for a truly professional ,friendly and outstanding afternoon which i will remember for months to come. My three children Oliver , Lowrie and Saffron thoroughly enjoyed it and are still talking about it as they fall asleep in their beds. I shall definately without doubt be booking again very soon to experience one of the other trips offered.
I will return to work on Monday and impress on all my colleagues and friends that the Gower Coast adventure truly is a remarkable journey and one cannot appreciate the true beauty of the Gower until experienced in this way To all the crew especially Mike and David i must truly thank you for an amazing experince to which i will remeber for a long time to come, Look forward to booking again soon

I went on this trip with my two daughters 5 & 7 and we all had a brilliant time, it was worth every penny, and I am from the Mumbles originally. We saw Kormarants diving, a wild goat, lobsters and crabs from a lobster pot, and the beaches on the Gower as I have never seen them before. There was excellant info on the trip, very good water proof gear and life jackets and genuinely very friendly ppl who ran the trip. A big thanks, it was one of the highlights of our holiday.

Thank you very much for an excellent experience. I have been going to the Gower since I was a child. However, seeing it from the sea made it look a different place. The eight of us found this experience fantastic, especially my six year old daughter with the dog fish. Again thanks for the wonderful experience.

It really brought the area alive and I would love my husband and six year old son to experience a similar trip.

We had the most pefect afternoon on the Sea Serpent; to see Gower from the sea in beautiful sunshine and clear blue water was wonderful and to see the seals at the end of Worm's Head in such close quarters was a privilege and we will definitely do the trip many times in the future.
Thanks very much for such a good time.

THE BEST DAY OUT EVER!! We had great commentary from Mike and Dave on the history of the Gower and the wildlife was just unbelievable. We got up close to a colony of grey seals off Worms Head. They were very playful and seemed as interested in us as we were in them. But the highlight of the day was when we were lucky enough to find ourselves surrounded by a huge shoal of common dolphins. They put on a spectacular performance for us, they were swimming right under the boat, jumping within a few feet along side us and one was even racing in front of the boat and mischievously splashing water on us with his tail.

We did the trip for the second year running and it was even better than last time. Mike and Dave’s knowledge of the area is amazing. Looking forward to repeating the experience again next year!

Many thanks for sending a photo of our trip on the Sea Serpent back on August 17. It was great to see the seals playing at Worm's Head and we still laugh about the one that was basking in the water in the hot sunshine, fast asleep and snoring loudly with its nose tipped back! The children particularly enjoyed holding the sea creatures you pulled up in a lobster pot. Hope to see you again when we return.

The trip on the sea serpent was by far the most exciting and pleasurable thing we have done on the gower, and we do spend a lot of time there. While my hubby and I enjoyed the wildlife, scenery and the benefit of your local knowledge, my six year old son enjoyed the exhilaration of the boat trip and getting up close to the blow hole in action at worms head, he also enjoyed the lobster pots and handling the catch. We've watched the boat go out all summer from Port Eynon and spoke to people coming off the boat, and while everyone says how good the trip is, you just don't believe how good it is until you've done it yourself. Thanks for the photo, it a nice keepsake. See you next summer

Great picture thanks! It was a fantastic trip, thanks for making it so special. It must be really
hard to make each trip a personal occassion but you both succeed so well. We wish you every success with your venture and look forward to a trip another time.

What an amazing experience! You get to see the beautiful Gower coastline from a great perspective. Friendly and knowledgeable guides know the history and wildlife of the area and get the boat right up to the cliffs and caves. The powerful jet engines make for an exhilarating return journey!!
17/05/05 Mark Richardson West Sussex
I have never met a pair of guides so keen to make sure that everyone is having a great time! They certainly helped make the trip enjoyable and interesting, with their wide range of local knowledge and experience! :-) A really great morning on the sea, thankyou :-)
01/08/05 Katherine, Toronto, Canada
I can't thank you enough for the GREAT afternoon I had on your boat. Definitely one of the best days of my trip and a chance to see Wales from a different angle! Not only was the scenery breathtaking, but your interest in all aspects of the area was very impressive. Being interested in archeology, seeing those prehistoric caves and learning a bit about them was a real highlight. And who can resist those seals. Thanks again

Many thanks for a superb trip along the beautiful Gower coast. It was a great opportunity to learn about the local wildlife and geology and to take photographs of wildlife and structures from a different perspective. The ride, though exhilerating, was very comfortable and the staff were very professional. The trip was good value for money and I look forward to a repeat ride when next in the area.

Dear Dave and Mike
Firstly we wish to express on behalf of the Mumbles Lifeboat Crew our thanks for your generosity of £228 during our annual raft race.
It is a pleasure to work with you for the benefit of all concerned. I trust that your day went well, with the support of yourself and others we were able to raise £15,000 valuable pounds toward the cost of our new All Weather Lifeboat fund which is planned to be at station during the next 3 years.
As a crew we are so pleased to see the success you are making at Gower Coast Adventures, as a result of the hard effort you and your team put in each and every day. We are in no doubt of the safety you place on each and every trip and trust the only time we meet is on social and fund raising events!!
Once again many many thanks, On Behalf of all of the Mumbles Lifeboat Crew
